USB DONGLE

Thecus supports the following tested 802.11 b/g USB wireless dongles in AP mode. And it has to be installed before NAS booting up, no PnP.

Above USB dongles are based on ZD1211/ZD1211b chip, which means following link model that based on the same chip should supported : http://www.linuxwireless.org/en/users/Drivers/zd1211rw/devices , but Thecus would recommend choosing the USB dongle from tested. Due to the driver issue, newer dongle might need new driver to support, if you can't see the management page or the option are gray out, that means the attached USB dongle is not supported.

Please note that the wireless support will be disable in newer firmware (ex: v3.04.03 for x86 models), therefore the current NAS with the latest firmware version will no longer support wireless dongle.
